Data and Spot

I haven't drawn Data in 6 years. Data and I go way back. . .When I first started watching Star Trek, I watched The Next Generation. The first episode I watched was called "Hero Worship" and it was about a boy who wanted to be an android, just like Data. I knew nothing about the show at this point but Data instantly became my favourite character after that. Spock is my all-time favourite character, but Data is right behind him. There will always be a special place for Data. :b

I've been on this TNG high lately and decided I should draw some TNG art. Thus, this image was created. Originally, Data was going to be holding regular ol' Spot, but I ended up drawing her smaller than I originally intended, so I guess it's Spot as a kitten. I didn't even intend for Data to hold her in one hand, but like I said, that's just how it came out in the end. I got a little lazy with colouring Spot, though. Spot is a tabby, but I just made her orange. . . maybe I'll go back and fix that sometime.
